CD207 (Langerin) MicroBeads, mouse

CD207 (Langerin) MicroBeads have been developed for positive selection or depletion of murine CD207 cells.

Quantity
CD207, also known as Langerin, is a 48 kDa transmembrane type II C-type lectin containing a single carbohydrate recognition domain in its extracellular region. Langerin is specifically expressed on epidermal Langerhans cells and dermal CD103
+
 dendritic cells. It displays Ca
2+
-dependent binding specificity for mannose, N-acetyl-glucosamine, and fucose and is involved in antigen recognition, uptake and transport to the Birbeck granules, whose formation is dependent on Langerin expression. The CD207 epitope is recognized by the CD207 antibodies shows trypsin as well as collagenase sensitivity.

Applications

Isolation of Langerhans cells from mouse epidermis and CD207
+
cells from spleen, thymus, and lymph node.
